Solutions for a variety of surgical applications
Surgery CLEARLY DEFINED
We introduced the first commercially available ultrasound system in 1960, developed the first electronic linear array scanning system in 1971, and introduced the world to color Doppler in 1983 revolutionizing cardiovascular ultrasound imaging. In 1984, our company introduced the first intraoperative transducers and firmly established our reputation as the leader in surgical ultrasound. In 1991, we introduced both a rigid and a flexible laparoscopic transducer to pave the way for modern minimally invasive ultrasound techniques. Today, we continue to set the pace in surgical ultrasound with pure digital systems for surgical offices and the operating rooms, and over 30 unique ultrasound transducers for a variety of surgical applications.
